And The List Goes On

This morning I was having my first cup of java and decided that I really need to get a "TO DO THIS SPRING/SUMMER LIST" going. You know, the preresiquite to spring-cleaning! This is what I have come up with thus far. They are in no particular order:

PAINT INSIDE OF HOUSE; ORGANIZE MY COMPUTER ROOM; CLEAN OUT THE GARAGE; NEW CARPET; NEW LIVING ROOM FURNITURE; NEW WINDOW TREATMENTS FOR LIVING ROOM, DINING ROOM, KITCHEN, MY BEDROOM; REPLACE OLD PATIO SLIDING DOOR WITH NEW FRENCH DOORS; GET SOME MINOR PLUMBING REPAIRED; CLEAN OUT SOME DRESSERS AND CLOSETS AND GIVE OLD CLOTHES AWAY; REPLACE LINOLEUM IN MASTER BATHROOM, KITCHEN AND UTILITY ROOM.

Okay, that's it so far and then I started becoming overwhelmed! Questions started popping into my head immediately: time and money were the two big ones. But not to worry! That's what prioritizing is all about. In fact, prioritizing will take care of those two big questions right off the bat, and in turn the questions will help me prioritize!

In between all of that, I have to manage to keep my yard manicured too. But I love challenges and live for goals! Just think, my every waking moment is going to be spent cleaning, mowing, weeding. painting and planting. Oh yeah, did I mention that I still have to keep my day job?

I guess I'd better start figuring out what needs to be done first and when. Shoot, that'll be another list if I don't watch it!

What is on your agenda for spring/summer?

I love goals, plans and agendas, but I'm still too caught up in how to handle the rest of winter to even beging thinking about spring and summer yet. I think I still have a ways to go in the planning department.

My goodness but your list is long, almost as long as the one I did a month ago. guess we women have this cleaning in our blood. my list, broken down is: keep priorities straight, plan for garden, clean compuer room, write a "I love you because" letter to each of my children, and family members. HAVE A GREAT DAY. Barbpinion

Oh my! Sounds more like redecorating to me! LOL. My list is just as long if not longer! I'm planning on remodeling a commercial building I live in. This should be very interesting to say the least. I could never give you the list, it would be three pages long! Yes, I need to prioritize. This will take a list too! Hope you are feeling better. Val

I'm tired just looking at your list. But I have a feeling you're up to the tasks!
