Remember the RED LIGHT ticket that I "earned" in January?  You know the one, where I had to pay a $237 fine?  Well, I wrote a letter which accompanied my payment to the fine city of Portland, Oregon.  Kim said that if she were the one reading my seething letter, I could kiss any hope of reduction in the fine goodbye. 

Regardless of her comment I sent it anyway.  I had to get my point across and have my "day in court", so to speak. 

Yesterday I received a check in the mail for $59! 

Better than a poke with a sharp stick, wouldn't you say?

Thank God my sister, Kim doesn't work for the city of Portland!  :)
