It's a good thing that I forced myself into mowing the lawn Monday evening when I got home, because it started raining last evening about 7pm. I didn't get the fertilizer on it though, but it was too dark by the time I finally put the mower away. Oh well, I'm sure I can fit it in at some point this week.
I finally got the leak under my kitchen sink repaired, and the one under the sink in the mudroom. Things only needed to be tightened a bit. Next on the list is my two outdoor faucets. I think they just need new pistons which ordinarily wouldn't be a big deal. Unfortunately, because this is an older home (1960's era) it may be more complicated than that. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it's not.
I think I may have already mentioned that I bought 6 yards of bark-dust. Now I have to find the time to spread it. As you all probably know it's no easy job, but I look forward to the hard work because I always feel so good afterwards, sitting back sipping iced tea and admiring my yard. I'm waiting until the spring flowers and foliage is spent before I begin.
I'm in the market to buy a carpet shampooer. I'd like to purchase a good name brand that steam cleans. Any suggestions on which one(s) are the best? I can use any help that you can offer on making this choice because I have no idea which one to buy, or the features to look for.
I am still plugging away slowly but surely on getting your journals read! I'll get to yours, I promise!
Until next time

Sounds like you have been busy! God bless, Beckie
Isn't it always something. I'm right there with you. As soon as the dirt playing is done, then I have to get some doors replaced, rotted door frame wood and the list goes on and on. But, it's always nice when it's done.
Boy I dont know, I bought a rainbow 11 years ago and still have it. It does a good job. I bought it used since new they were like 2000. I envy you doing all the yard work as I am getting out of it since I am moving. john
